Training Materials Inventory & Physical Environment

You will need the following materials to fully participate in the training sessions.

I. Instructional Materials Available For Purchase Here

1. Leader's Evangelization Training Guides (Series "A").

2. The Evangelizer's Handbooks (Series "B") which the trainees will need in order to participate in the Training.

The above materials can only be purchased through the Sisters of the New Covenant.

Additional books will be needed for each trainee as well:

1. A Bible (RSV Catholic Edition preferred).

2. Apostolic Exhortation, On Evangelization in the Modern World (Evangelii Nuntiandi) by Pope Paul VI, Daughters of St. Paul, 1975.

3. Christianity Rediscovered by Vincent J. Donovan, Orbis Books, Maryknoll, New York, 1982.

4. Encyclical Letter, Mission of the Redeemer (Redemptoris Missio) by Pope John Paul II, Daughters of St. Paul, 1990.

5. Encyclical Letter, The Gospel of Life (Evangelium Vitae) by Pope John Paul II, Daughters of St. Paul, 1995.

All of the above books are to be purchased well in advance of the date the ACTS II Evangelization Training begins.

II. Music Materials

1. Guitar, Piano, Flute, etc.

2. Songs of Praise Songbooks (or something comparable).

III. Physical Environment

1. A Training Room: The room should have good acoustics and ventilation and be free from noise and distractions.

2. A Blackboard or Flip Chart: Throughout the training the coordinator may wish to highlight various points by writing them down on a blackboard or flip chart.

3. Medium or Large Candle: Used in the procession for the prayer service.
