The vision of the Catholic Evangelization Training Center is to provide a parish evangelization process, ACTS II:
Conversion, Proclamation, Community (the ACTS II Process) and individual evangelization training for those that are
not part of a parish where the ACTS II Process exists.
A Parish Evangelization Process
The Catholic Evangelization Training Center provides a parish evangelization process, ACTS II: Conversion,
Proclamation, Community, that is in keeping with the NEW Evangelization called for by John Paul II. What John Paul
II meant by the NEW Evangelization was that it be NEW in METHOD, EXPRESSION and ZEAL.
ACTS II: Conversion Proclamation, Community (the ACTS II Process) meets those criteria; it is new in method
and expression and develops within those trained a zeal to go out and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Individual Training
The Catholic Evangelization Training Center also provides individual training for those interested in being
trained but are not in a parish where the ACTS II Process exists.
The Catholic Evangelization Training Center uses a modified version of one of the components of the ACTS II Process
for the individual training. This component of the ACTS II Process is the ACTS II Evangelization Training, a
biblically based formation that equips individuals with the tools and skills to carry out the mission of direct,
one-on-one evangelization.
